An improvement in our communication

20/01/2023.
For years, we've been trying to find a way to communicate what we actually do in our Community Council, with many people in the community thinking that we do nothing or that the things we do aren't of any use.

For this reason, community councils struggle to gain new members, therefore struggling to come up with new ideas, and consequently struggling to maximise the limited reach and funding that we have.

The above situation is at least in part due to poor communication between the community council and the community. Notice boards are useful, but limited in reach, so we've been seeking a way to reach more people.

Social media has been good at extending our communications reach, but doesn't easily facilitate the uploading of documents other than photographs. Fingers crossed this new website, working in tandem with social media, will give us the ability to communicate minutes and agendas in a way that people can access.

Please bear with us while we figure out how to use all of the functions on this website.
