14/03/2023 We're sad to announce the departure of a much appreciated but often unsung member of the community, Mr David Wright, who is leaving the area. David has been responsible for the maintenance of all flowerbeds in both Creetown and Carsluith for several years now. The well kept flowerbeds were a cheering sight from spring right through until autumn. At Christmas, David was also responsble for arranging the purchase and mounting of the small Christmas trees and lights along St John Street in Creetown, together with helpers he roped in along the way. David has now resigned his position in the Community Council and we face the daunting task of finding a replacement for all of his committment and hard work.
